Old Logger

A long time ago, Gaim supported a plain text logging method that used simple flat files for each buddy. This is commonly referred to as the "old" logging format. Now Gaim's default logging is much more sophisticated, creating new logs for each new conversation and supporting HTML logging as well as plain text. A surprisingly large number of users, however, want the older, less efficient logging format that uses simple flat files. Although these can be much slower to deal with as the log size increases, the idea of a single file is very appealing to these users. In response to this demand, this plugin has been created. It is a logging plugin that reimplements the legacy, deficient logging that has been removed from Gaim.
