Bash.org
This plugin was designed to serve a stupidly simple purpose--to provide random links to quotes on bash.org. But since the random linking can often fall upon quotes we're not allowed to see due to being rejected or removed, the ability to select a specific quote is present. The /bash command with no arguments will generate a random quote link. Adding a numeric number, such as in /bash 1, will cause a specific link to be generated. The same holds true for our support for qdb.us quotes. The /qdb command will generate a random link, and /qdb 1 for example will generate a specific link.
Currently neither bash.org nor qdb.us provide a simple way to find out how many quotes they have at any given time, or what the highest numeric ID is, so we will periodically check and update (if we remember) a constant value we have placed in the source for the plugin. Sorry, but they don't make this easy for us ;)
