Pidgin 2.6.2 Crashes when Guifications Plugin is Enabled

After upgrading Pidgin from 2.6.1 to 2.6.2, Pidgin started crashing. I found that if I disable the Guifications plugin, the crashes go away. If I enable the plugin, Pidgin crashes usually within a minute or two.

I am running Pidgin 2.6.2 and Guifications 2.16 on Windows 7 RC.

I have attached debug output from Pidgin.

I have two workstations running Windows XP Professional (x86) with Service Pack 3 that suffer from this issue. On my home computer (from which I connect to AIM, ICQ, and Jabber) Pidgin has always crashed when GUIfications is enabled with any version of 2.6.x. On my work computer (from which I connect to GroupWise? and Jabber) GUIfications worked fine after upgrading to Pidgin 2.6.1, but since 2.6.2 it has been crashing as well. I have not yet been able to figure out if the problem has something to do with what themes are loaded and set for particular contacts, though none of the changes I've made (aside from disabling the plugin entirely) have eliminated the crashing with GUIfications.

I have the same issue when running pidgin 2.6.4 with guifications 2.16. Disabling guifications stops the crashes. Crashes occur when any user interaction is initiated (opening IM, opening plugins window, etc.) These crashes disappear when guifications is disabled. the pidgin.rpt file I have attached was taken with only guifications enabled.

It appears that Pidgin 2.6.5 no longer has an issue with the current Guifications plugin. I am using guifications with v2.6.5 and it works instead of crashing.
