Would like a "status rotater" plugin

Description

I would love to have a plugin that periodically changes my status message to one of a set of messages from a file containing a list. (Think "fortune file" or "yow.lines".)

I would add: Quote of the Day or Word of the Day. And maybe it could rotate also display pictures with, for example, NG Photo of the Day. :)
