Hide Existing Conversations When Away?

Description

Would it be possible to add a preference to the hideconv plugin to hide existing conversations when away? Currently the hideconv plugin requires you to manually hide all conversations -- what I am imagining would be automatic as soon as you enter an away state.

Sounds like you want the 'iconify' plugin from pidgin?

The "iconify" plugin is the right idea, except it only minimizes the conversations -- it doesn't hide them.

Yeah, I totally agree with this actually. What I think should happen is if iconify is installed and enabled, then hideconv hides all open convos. Actually, I find the description of iconify rather confusing. It says iconify blist and convos on away, but as FlyingSaucr? said, it only minimizes the conversations, whereas the blist gets iconified to tray. This is inconsistent.

iconify actually pre-dates the tray icon not being a plugin. When it was written (and since bit rotted), it made sense since you couldn't "close" the blist to the tray.

Ah. Well, that explains that. In that case, it should just be updated to be more consistent :)
